    How to use:

    This blend is most effective when rolled onto surfaces of your body that have the most sweat glands for fast absorption. We recommend rolling the oil onto the bottoms of your feet and down your spine. This oil can be applied other places however, Rue and Valerian root are not the gentlest of scents!

    Absorption is increased by massage, as this increases the circulation in that area of the body. Also, we do not recommend that this oil makes contact with any mucous membranes and do not use while pregnant. This blend is safe for children 2 years and older.

    First, remember, everything you do and don't do during the day affects the quality of your sleep.

    If losing sleep is affecting your quality of life we recommend seeing both a physician and a clinical therapist to rule out any organic cause and address possible struggles with anxiety, depressed mood etc.

    TEN TIPS FOR CHILDREN

    1. Create a routine and stick to it.

    2. Start the bedtime routine at least an hour before desired sleep time.

    3. Darken the room, even during the routine, dim the lights so their body can adjust to the environmental signals.

    4. Use white noise. Research shows this helps the brain ignore unnecessary sounds that it will other wise want to respond to.

    5. Ideal room temperature is 65 degrees F. Keeping your thermostat between 60-67 degrees will help maintain this temperature.

    6. Use black out shades to keep light out in the early mornings.

    7. Avoid screen time up to 2 hours prior to bed. Some kids may need an even longer gap.

    8. Avoid sugary, processed carbs that turn to quickly burned energy.

    9. Keep bedtime routine as calm and consistent as possible with less bartering and power struggle.
