By Karisse was founded by Ryan, a licensed therapist who spent 10 years working with women navigating the pressures of beauty culture. The brand was built not just around ingredients, but around a philosophy: that you don't need to fight aging, fix your skin, or meet anyone else's standard of beauty. Every product is handcrafted in Laguna Beach using plant-based ingredients chosen for what your skin can genuinely absorb and use.
Yes. Every formula is plant-based and free from synthetic fragrance, parabens, sulfates, hormone disruptors, and eight more harmful (but commonly used) ingredients we actively avoid. We also offer products specifically formulated for reactive and sensitive skin, including our Pure Facial Oil.
