She holds full licensure in California, having completed rigorous training and board certification along with advanced certifications in neuro-acupuncture, a powerful specialty that enhances nervous system function and supports whole-body healing.

Vida’s work is rooted in precision, care, and a genuine passion for helping others feel their best inside and out. Her approach blends traditional Eastern wisdom with modern techniques to support everything from chronic pain and stress to facial rejuvenation. She also offers cosmetic acupuncture and is open to expanding services as our offerings grow.

Danielle is an esthetician at By Karisse who approaches skin with a whole body perspective, understanding that skin reflects far more than what’s visible on the surface. Her work is grounded in intentional touch, thoughtful product selection, and care that supports both skin health and emotional wellbeing.

A longtime Laguna Beach local and mother, Danielle was drawn to esthetics during a deeply transformative season of her life. After the passing of her mother, she felt called toward work that could truly support and care for others, especially women and young people navigating sensitive stages of life.

Danielle has a special focus on acne, congestion, and skin concerns that impact confidence, particularly for teens and young adults. She works with compassion, patience, and education, creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and understood.

Certified and trained in Sculptural Face Lift, Danielle blends skilled hands with professional grade actives to deliver visible, natural results. Her treatments soften the face, lift and tone, and restore balance while remaining gentle, non invasive, and deeply nurturing.

What clients experience with Danielle goes beyond skincare. The result is a face that looks lighter, lifted, and supported.

Selah is a holistic esthetician and sound facilitator at By Karisse. She is certified in Cecily Braden Gua Sha Fusion Facial therapy and has been practicing this method since 2020. Her work is rooted in the understanding that the skin reflects what is happening beneath the surface, including lymphatic flow, circulation, fascia, and the way the body holds tension.

Through slow, intentional touch and attentive facial massage, Selah supports fluid movement, softens restriction, and reduces inflammation. Her sessions invite the face and body into a state of ease, allowing release, lift, and balance to unfold naturally.

Selah approaches skincare as a form of communication and care. She listens closely to the skin and works with the body’s natural rhythms rather than forcing change. Her treatments support visible skin health while also creating a sense of safety and deep rest.

As a sound facilitator, Selah incorporates gentle sound and guided meditation into select sessions, offering a quiet, supportive space where clients can slow down, reconnect, and feel supported in both skin and body.

Rebecca is the Operations Manager at By Karisse, where she works closely with the founder and team to support the day to day function and long term growth of the brand. Her role continues to evolve across operations, marketing, systems, and client experience as the business grows.

She brings structure and clarity to the behind the scenes work that allows the studio and product line to run smoothly, from internal processes and team support to communication, education, and online strategy. Rebecca helps translate the heart of By Karisse into clear systems and messaging, ensuring the client experience feels intentional, supportive, and aligned.

Rebecca is deeply connected to the mission of By Karisse and believes in the power of plant based skincare, thoughtful rituals, and whole body care to support healing and balance over time.

Outside of work, Rebecca is a mum of four. She is motivated by growth, resilience, and showing her children that it’s possible to keep learning and evolving at any stage.
