This is not a facial.
Most facials work on the surface.
Sculpting Face Lifting works with the muscles that hold your face.
As we age, it is not just skin that changes. Muscle tone shifts. Circulation slows. Tension settles into the jaw, cheeks, and neck. When the structure beneath the skin weakens, the face begins to soften.
Sculpting Face Lifting is designed to address that structure directly.
This method follows the original Sculptural Face Lifting™ Method developed by Yakov Gershkovich.
Danielle, one of our licensed estheticians at By Karisse, completed her Sculptural Face Lifting™ training through Abi Maeve, an accredited SFL Method teacher personally certified to teach this technique.
This is not a quick treatment. It is a structured experience.
This treatment follows a specific progression. Each phase builds on the one before it, allowing the muscles and tissues to respond more effectively as the session unfolds.
The Beginning: Preparing the Structure
Your session begins with lymphatic and upper spinal releases.
This work supports drainage, reduces stagnation, and allows tension in the neck and jaw to soften. Circulation improves. The face becomes more responsive.
This preparation sets the foundation for deeper structural work.
The Middle: Working Through the Face
From the neckline to the forehead and back down again, the face is treated in sections.
Each area is sculpted with intention. The muscles that support lift are stimulated and retrained. Areas of heaviness are mobilized. Stagnant tissue is reactivated.
This is not surface massage. It is muscle engagement.
The Final Phase: Intraoral Work
The remainder of the session includes intraoral work, targeting the muscles of the jaw, cheeks, and lower face from the inside.
By accessing these muscles directly, deeper tension patterns can be addressed and structural balance can be restored more completely.
For clients who clench, grind, or hold stress in the lower face, this portion can be especially impactful.
Beyond Aesthetic Results
While Sculpting Face Lifting visibly supports lift and tone, its benefits extend beyond appearance.
Clients often report:
- Relief from jaw tension
- Reduced TMJ discomfort
- Fewer tension related headaches
- A sense of release through the lower face and neck
- Immediate and Long Term Results
Many clients notice visible lift and improved tone immediately following their session.
With consistency, this work supports:
- A more defined jawline
- Brighter, more energized skin
- Improved facial symmetry
- Long term preservation of facial structure
This is not about changing your face.
It is about restoring what holds it in place.
Is This Worth the Investment?
Sculpting Face Lifting is structural work.
If your primary concern is surface texture or temporary glow, a traditional facial may be enough.
If you are noticing softening along the jawline, flattening through the mid face, or tension that is beginning to change your expression, surface treatments alone will not address the cause.
Structure determines how your face ages.
For clients who want a natural alternative to injectables and are committed to long term preservation, this treatment becomes part of a strategy, not a one time experience.
How Many Sessions Do I Need?
Many clients notice visible lift and improved tone after one session.
For structural change, consistency matters.
We typically recommend:
- 3 sessions spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart to retrain and awaken the muscles
- Maintenance every 4 to 6 weeks depending on your goals
If you clench, grind, or hold chronic jaw tension, you may benefit from a closer initial series.
This is not about dependency.
It is about training.
Just like any muscle group, results build with repetition.
