Built by a clinician

Yours to keep, nothing renews

Description

Three foundational movements. Built by a clinician who spent ten years listening to women.

You already know how to move your body.

You have learned technique. You understand what it means to work a muscle and let it recover, and you have felt what changes when you keep showing up for something.

And then it stops at your neck.

The face has muscles like everywhere else. They hold tension all day, they get tight, and they respond to being worked and released the same way the rest of you does. Most of us have simply never been taught to touch them on purpose.

What this is

Three movements. The neck, the brow, the mouth. That is the whole foundation.

I will not tell you this reverses anything. I won't say it turns back time. What I will tell you is what you are actually doing. You are stretching the muscles in your face. You are toning them. You are building strength, the same way you would anywhere else in your body.

First you learn where you hold. Most women are holding in the jaw and do not know it until somebody asks. Some of that is from the day you just had. Some of it has been there a great deal longer.

Then you learn how to put it down.

How long it takes

Five minutes on a night you have five minutes. Ninety seconds on a night you do not. Both of those count, and the short ones count for more than people think.

You are not doing it alone

There is a private group of women working through exactly this practice, and it comes with it. Nobody is required to post anything. Some women share, most read, and both are fine.

If this feels silly

Most of the time when we do new things, it's silly. Just take a deep breath. Remember we are stretching muscles in our face and toning muscles in our face. Lean into being proud of the fact that you are increasing volume in your cheeks and toning your forehead to build strength, so that you can reflect to the world a face that you feel like yourself in.

What this is not

This is not therapy, and I am not your clinician. I worked as a therapist for ten years, so I know the difference.

This is a practice for your face. Sometimes a practice for the body moves something that has nothing to do with the body. If what comes up feels bigger than a practice can hold, that is worth taking to someone whose work is to sit with you while you look at it. That is not this failing you. That is you taking yourself seriously.

What is inside

Three foundational movements. The neck, the brow, the mouth. Filmed close enough to see where the fingers sit, and walked through step by step so you can follow the first time.

Four bonus movements: Under the Lip, Throat and Tongue, The Forehead Press, and How You Carry It. Included rather than held back for a second purchase.

Six guided check-ins, and a private journal for your own photos and notes. Nobody sees that but you.

How it works

You buy here, and an email arrives with a link. There is no password to make and nothing to remember. Come back any time by entering the same email address.

Four minutes on most nights. Some nights one. The practice is built to survive a bad week rather than to require a good one.

Access does not expire. When new material is added, you get that too.

Results from the foundations

Every change you see here comes from the same foundational practices you'll learn in this program. How soon you notice a difference is different for everyone, and it mostly comes down to how consistently you practice.

Jawline and neckline

Katie loves her yoga practice. What she wanted was the technique her yoga trainings never taught her, because those trainings ended at the neck.

Cheek volume and a more defined jawline

I just love how good it feels, and I really notice the difference. Even though it's subtle, it makes me feel more confident.

Sarah
Cheek volume and a stronger jawline

I had TMJ and was living on soft foods, so my jaw barely moved and I lost volume along my jawline. This was never only about aging.

Women who move their faces on purpose

Needed this!!

I like that it’s not too much so it’s easy to incorporate into my daily routine but at the same time you can really feel every pose working!!

Rita

Face Yoga Rookie!

Spending a few minutes a day following this coaching has helped me notice subtle results. I feel empowered and more in touch with my face, which gives me more confidence than I expected.

S.

Bye Bye Botox!

I’m really impressed with how I feel and think it’s such an interesting option for anyone looking to try something more natural.

Natalie

I’m still so shocked.

I’ve never thought of the face the way I think about my body. Of course, there are muscles in there, so thankful to have a simple program to learn how to work them!

Susan

Natural results, kindest care

I wanted to age well, but still look like me. She took the time to truly teach me how the facial muscles work and how to use them properly, all with so much patience and kindness.

Rachel, private sessions

You train everything but your face

You already know how to move your body. You have learned technique. You understand what it means to work a muscle and let it recover, and you have felt what changes when you keep showing up.

And then it stops at your neck.

The face has muscles like everywhere else. They hold tension all day, they get tight, and they respond to being worked and released the same way the rest of you does. Most of us have simply never been taught to touch them on purpose.

That is all this is. Five minutes, your own two hands, and the same intention you already bring to the rest of your body.

Start your five minutes

This is for you if

You're stepping away from Botox

Or taking a break between appointments, and you want something to do with your own two hands in the meantime.

You've never tried an injectable

But you're disappointed by what you've started seeing in the mirror, and you want a place to start that feels like you.

The lines don't look like you

You catch your reflection and see someone you don't quite recognize.

Ryan demonstrating The Unfurrowing, hands resting at her temples

Your brows look angry

That furrowed line between them makes you look upset, even on a good day.

Your smile has started to turn down

The corners of your mouth settle lower than they used to when your face is at rest.

Something else keeps catching your eye

Whatever you've been quietly noticing in the mirror, this is where you start working with it instead of worrying about it.

THIS IS WHAT THE PRACTICE LOOKS LIKE

Five minutes a day

How your face meets the world is not as fixed as we were told, and it's far more in your hands than anyone let on.

Three movements. Five minutes on a good night, ninety seconds on a hard one. No equipment, nothing to book, nothing to schedule.

This is the same footage you get inside, at the same angle, with nothing sped up and nothing edited to flatter.

All that's included

Three foundational movements. The neck, the brow, the mouth. Filmed close enough to see exactly where the fingers sit and how long each hold lasts.

Four bonus movements. Under the Lip, Throat and Tongue, The Forehead Press, and How You Carry It. Yours from day one, not held back.

Before You Begin. A short film on oil and skin, so you are working the muscle rather than dragging at a dry face. Twenty seconds, and it saves you a lot.

Six guided check-ins. Where You Hold It, The Practice, What Came Up, A Permission Slip, What You Are Working, and Sixty Days. Answer them right in the program in a few minutes, or print them if you like writing by hand.

A private journal that builds as you go. Every note is saved with its date, so on day sixty you have something real to read back.

A photo record, kept private. Add a photo on any day you want one. Nobody sees them but you.

The Face Movement. A private group of women doing exactly this practice, so you are never doing it on your own.

Lifetime access. Paid once. Nothing renews, nothing expires, and everything I add later comes to you too.

THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE FACE MOVEMENT, PLUS FOUR BONUS MOVEMENTS

Ryan demonstrating The Neck Opener, hands resting at the collarbone

The Neck Opener

Works the platysma, the long muscle running from your jawline down over the collarbone. Most of what your jaw is holding arrives from the neck and shoulders, so releasing here is what lets the rest let go. This is usually where people feel the day come off first.

Ryan demonstrating The Unfurrowing, hands resting at her temples

The Unfurrowing

Works the forehead and the space between the brows, the part of your face that has been braced all day without being asked. In Chinese medicine this is where frustration and overthinking sit. Most women say it feels like putting something down.

Ryan demonstrating The Mid Face Opener, mouth drawn into an O

The Mid Face Opener

Works the cheeks and the corners of the mouth, where more muscles meet than anywhere else in the face. They sit in layers, and layers that rarely move tend to bind to one another and slow what moves underneath. This is also where most of us hold what we have not said out loud, so it tends to feel less like working a muscle and more like letting pressure out.

What to expect

WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGES, AND ROUGHLY WHEN

Day 1

You find out where you've been holding

The first check-in asks you to press along your own jaw and brow and mark what's tight. Most women are surprised by how much there is to mark, and that surprise is the whole point.

Week 1

It stops feeling awkward

Your hands learn where to go. Five minutes stops being something you have to remember and becomes something you reach for at the end of the day.

Week 3

Something lets go

Usually the jaw first. Less about looking different than about noticing you had been braced all day without ever knowing it.

Day 60

You read day one back

The Sixty Days check-in puts your own first sentence in front of you. That is the measure that matters here, and it belongs to you alone.

Nobody softens on a schedule. Some weeks you will feel it and some weeks you will not, and both of those weeks are the practice.

Why today is the day to start

Your face carries your whole day. Your jaw clenches through the hard conversation, your brow tightens over the inbox, and the tension in your shoulders climbs until it settles right where you see it in the mirror.

Nobody ever taught you to put your hands there on purpose, so it just stays. The sooner you start, the sooner it has somewhere to go.

You don't need an hour, and you don't need to be good at this yet. You need five minutes a day and a strong foundation, built by a clinician who spent ten years listening to women. You can start that today.

You are not trying to become someone else. You are trying to stop holding on so tightly.

Rita, Beginners Face Yoga

Six guided check-ins
Where You Hold It

Day one, before anything else. You map your own face and mark what is tight, so you know exactly what you are starting from.

What You Are Working

The map that goes with it. What sits under your hands during each movement, drawn plainly, with no jargon.

The Practice

One page, one month. Somewhere to mark the days you showed up, which is the only number that counts here.

What Came Up

For the days the work moves something. Room to write it down rather than press it back under.

A Permission Slip

Put it somewhere you will see it. A short page for the days you would rather not look at yourself at all.

Sixty Days

For when you are ready to read day one back. Your own words, handed to you two months later.

Questions

The things worth knowing before you decide.

How long does this take?

Four minutes on most nights. Some nights one. The practice is built to survive a bad week, not to require a good one.

Do I need anything?

Your hands, and a little facial oil so you are working the muscle rather than pulling at dry skin. Any oil does it. There is a short film about this before the movements start.

What if I have never done face yoga?

That is who this is for. Every movement is walked through step by step, with the cues written beside the film so you can read them while you learn.

What happens after I buy?

You get an email with a link. No password to make and nothing to remember. Come back any time by entering the same email address.

How long do I have access?

For good. Nothing renews and nothing expires. When I add to it, which I will, you get that too.

Is this therapy?

No, and I am not your clinician. I worked as a therapist for ten years, so I know the difference. This is a practice for your face. If something surfaces that feels bigger than a practice can hold, that is worth taking to someone whose work is to sit with you while you look at it.

It feels like your face is changing, and there's nothing you can do about it

Turns out there is, and this is it.

Five minutes a day to let go of what your face is holding. It's built on the foundations, so you get a strong start and don't pick up any bad habits.

Not a trend. A practice.

Natural results, kindest care

I started face yoga with Ryan a few months ago after noticing subtle signs of aging—especially around my mouth and chin—on video calls. My face just felt like it was starting to droop, and it was hard not to fixate on it.

I had talked to a med spa about filler, but it never felt right. I’ve seen too many women my age lose the look of themselves, and that’s not what I wanted. I wanted to age well, but still look like me.

Working with Ryan has been such a different experience. She took the time to truly teach me how the facial muscles work and how to use them properly, all with so much patience and kindness. I paired face yoga with cosmetic acupuncture, and the results have been amazing—my skin looks smoother, healthier, and more lifted.

Over the holidays, a few friends asked what I was doing because I looked so good, which felt incredibly affirming.

Everyone at by Karisse is genuinely wonderful. I’ve even come in feeling stressed and overwhelmed and left feeling calm, supported, and cared for. As a busy working mom, that kind of care is truly a gift.

Hello Rachel,

You are absolutely beautiful. It has been a joy to have you come in for services and see the amazing results from the face yoga and cosmetic acupuncture. Keep up the good work!

Bye Bye Botox!

All my friends are getting Botox, and I’m in my 40s wondering if there’s another option. I just don’t want to spend the money on injections and I know botox can't be good for you long term! I’ve always felt like there has to be another way. I fell in love with byKarisse products a few years ago, and when I saw that they offered one-time access to Face Yoga for under $100, I thought, why not? It’s definitely a little weird and interesting to get started, but after doing the sessions, I genuinely feel like my mind works better. I feel more clear, focused, and stimulated, and I’ve really enjoyed the experience so far. I haven’t been doing it long enough to know what the long-term results will be, but I’m really impressed with how I feel and think it’s such an interesting option for anyone looking to try something more natural.

Hi Natalie, thank you for sharing your positive experience with our Face Yoga program. We are delighted to hear it has brought clarity and a natural alternative for your skincare routine. We hope it continues to bring you great results and confidence. Keep practicing regularly and we are confident that you will enjoy your long-term results.

Face Yoga Rookie!

Face Yoga sounded it was something made up when I first heard about it... but through this program, being open-minded and learning about facial anatomy, it became clear to me that the muscles in our face operate just like the muscles in our body. Without stretching and movement, they simply don't operate at their best. Spending a few minutes a day following this coaching has helped me notice subtle results. Even though the results are not immediate, they are significant to me (eye bags and lower chin) and have made me feel empowered against time and gravity. I feel empowered and more in touch with my face, which gives me more confidence than I expected. If it worked for me i’m confident it will help others too.

Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience with Face Yoga. We are delighted to hear that the program has helped you feel more empowered and confident. Your feedback truly motivates us to continue supporting our community. Wishing you continued success on your face yoga journey!

Needed this!!

I am loving this program! I like that it’s not too much so it’s easy to incorporate into my daily routine but at the same time you can really feel every pose working!! My favorite is the neck opener because I can feel it all the way up my neck and into my jaw!! I also love that I can go back and rewatch the videos because after a couple of days of doing it, it’s nice to have a reminder of exactly what you’re supposed to be doing! Plus watching the videos and writing in the journal has kept me accountable!

Hi Rita, thank you for sharing your wonderful experience! We are delighted to hear that our Face Yoga program fits well into your routine and helps you feel the benefits. Keep enjoying your practice and stay radiant!
